“In the beginning there was harmony, a resonance between ourselves, nature, the earth from whence we came and will return. Like a gentle mother, she gave us nourishment and protection. Her forests gave us shelter from the searing heat of the summer sun, wood to keep the fires burning through the cold winter nights. We were at one with the spirit of the land.”*

Judy Canales has rejected a life offered her by mainstream society and has opted to create a spiritual charity, “The Star Earth Tribe Inc” at Young Road, Nimbin, NSW, Australia. Here in the heart of nature is a refuge for young homeless city folk to learn self-reliance and to cleanse their bodies and minds of unhealthy drugs, junk food and unhealthy lifestyles.
After years of Judy's government proposals of, “Off the Streets, Off the Drugs, Off the Dole with the
Legalisation of Cannabis Hemp” and her work for the dole application to Hemploy 1000 in 1996 guaranteeing $9.6M tax, being admired by the Attorney Generals Dept yet still nothing happens, whilst more kids have died. Judy became so fed up with the system she has entered politics herself to:

Introduce The Circle,

Legalise drugs,

Respect the Aboriginal Elders,

Restore the economy with Hemployment

Propose a sensible consumption tax
